What is the problem you are having....My problem was the quick cluch engagement , And if i didn't get on the gas fast enough it would stall ...I solved that with a adjustable cluch lever .......
Another thing I learned and experienced. If you enable the EITMS turns off the rear cylinder fuel injector during idle if certain parameters are met to help reduce heat . . . AND it actually raises your idle speed. Since you are in Florida and have warm weather (well usually, lol) this might help. I never used it on my 2012 but always do on my 2018 TG. When idling in hot weather having it enabled seems to work better for me.
Same problem. Rino Aggregating
Thanks for the help, I though all the M-8 had the lower idle I will see what the dealer can do about it. Doc

It appears I have the right c flash in the Tri, Once in a while it will buck like crasy in first gear at slow speed, Have gotten use to pulling in the clutch and giving it more revs then releasing the clutch. I have it pinned to when the ems kicks in thats were the problem starts after the Tri is hot very little problem as the idle is higher. Thanks for the help.
Any bike or car with a manual clutch will buck like crazy if it is lugged down to idle while in gear. There are two possible cures. 1) replace the clutch with a fluid drive similar to the Chryslers of the late 40's or 2) quit lugging it. I don't know of any "Fluid Drive" for a Harley so I guess we're stuck with #2 :clapping:
Check this out I think this may be the answer it is a little pricey but looks good to me.

Thanks for the help but it is not a problem with me and the clutch , It has to do with the emis when it is in trans mode from low to high idle, it will go from slow rear cyl, on to high rear cyl off back and forth rapidly, I am taking it back to the dealers Tues It appears it takes to longer to make up its mind weather it wants on or off, With the EMIS off I do not have the problem.
Mine did the high-low thing. Turned out to be the defective DBW throttle gizmo. Will drive ya bonkers!![]()
