Would anyone happen to know what battery will fit the 2017 with Milwaukee 8 motor?

Like a dumbass I forgot to put it on the battery tender when we had a few cold snaps

Battery Mart....Big Crank ETX-30L... Thru Amazon....Are you sure you can't charge it back to life....If it went completely dead, A tender won't start charging it... You might have to put it on a regular charter/booster so as to get it back to life, Then put it on the tender, Remember keep it on the regular charger ''just'' enough, So the tender will work..

100% Correct. The Battery Tender isn't and never was intended to charge a dead battery. You can cause issues with your regulator if done very often. Just as Rino indicated...put it on a charger, get it up to full charge then use the tender.

I want to thank you all for the info I had no idea would work :clapping:

After reading this I went out to remove it from the tender and the green light was on so I removed it from the tender and nothing it won't start. Tomorrow I will find my 2 - 6 amp charger and put it on for 24 hrs and then see what happens.

I also have a 10 - 30 amp charger.

Late for the party , but 10amps will cook it ! Especially overnight.

BTW, how ya make out ?

And the plot thickens.....:shok:

Well when I went out to put it on the charger though I would try to start it because I checked the voltage at the battery and it was 12.56 so pushed the start button and she fired right up.

Took her out for a 2 hour ride and when I got back I noticed the reverse would work then almost die so got her turned and started her back up and rode into the bike garage.

I will have to see what happens after all this rain stops but now on the battery tender.

And what a PITA it was getting to the battery.

So again thank you all for lending your knowledge. I applaud you :clapping::clapping::clapping:

12.56 Volts is low and is an sign of a undercharge battery, Or a battery with a bad cell..

Charge that battery til you have at least 12.7 volts

Let it sit for an hour

Hook up a volt meter to it

Turn the ignition on, if the voltage drops to 10 volts and keeps dropping you need a New battery

This is a poor mans battery load test;)

Load tester from Harbor Freight Tools 22.00 and change

By the way Jack, the battery is covered by the 2 year factory warranty & not pro-rated according to my dealer.

I'm lucky to have 5 dealers within 35 miles, all vying for business.;)

Battery conection

There is a alternate way to access the battery + wire ; remove the right side cover, on the reverse top circuit breaker the heavy wire is direct from the battery. Then just use the frame as the negative. No seat removal nessasary.

Thanks for the tip. I usually just use the Battery Tender connection. It's easy to plug my Fluke meter into.
