New Motor Trike Conversion

Hi all,

I will be picking up my new Motor Tike conversion of my 98 Goldwing SE in a few weeks.

Does anyone have items I should checkout / look for when I pick it up?

Welcome from another Motor Trike owner.

Not much I can add to what has already been said.

My personal contacts with Motor Trike have been limited and I was well taken care of when needed.

No real complaints on my part.

Except and its a small thing. The LED pressure display. It does have a tendency to give up the ghost. At least mine has.

I am on my 3rd display.............

Other then that small issue 5+ years of mostly happy motoring on 3 wheels.

From another MT owner-

Did you get the Aquashields? A good addition; especially since you can stand on them.

Also, consider the fender shields.... lots cheaper than a repaint....

Yes the air shock/voltage display.

To avoid some potential confusion on this topic.

The GL1500 will not have this feature since our conversion for the 1500 is designed to tie into the OE air compressor system & uses the factory controls/display in the dash.

Also, older GL1800's & other solid axle units won't have this also since this was not offered until later on (unless retrofitted later on). The first gen digital displays came out for the solid axle Goldwing 1800's sometime around 2008 & was updated/revised when the IRS conversions were released in late 2009.
