That looks like a well engineered unit.

Years ago, I bought a similar kit through V-Twin Mfg., that was made by Ram Jett in California. It was a poorly designed kit that simply didn't have the power to reverse my Electra Glide with TLE sidecar no matter what tweaks and modifications I tried.

The story went even further south for me, as VTwin stopped selling the kit supposedly because the Ram Jett company went bankrupt about 6 months after I bought it.

I wish this RS kit was an option back in the 90's...

The red gear that engages the reverse ring is much larger [Beefier] than the Harley's tiny one...Just from the looks thats a better system than the Harleys...
