Wind Shields and Shocks

*Has anyone ever ordered a windshield from Long Ride Shields, any feed back.

*Rear suspension, and suggestions on trying to take away some of the roll/rough ride from the straight real axle set-up?

Thanks,

I just put a LRS 10" light tint flat top on my 2014. So far I like it a lot!

22 psi rear tires, 38 psi shocks.

I have had a LRS on my Road Glide and I now have an 8" medium tint on my Triglide. I highly recommend them. Best suggestion I can give for the ride is either Progressive or Pro Action rear shocks. The stock shocks are not very good

No issues with LRS. My trike has a 10 inch flattop with light tint. I am 5'10" and I can easily look over the shield without getting wind rash. Jim

:Agree: 100% as I could not agree more that the OEM air shocks are Terrible and I have tried both the Progressive and currently have the Pro-Action installed at this time!!

I'm with HDBob on the tire/shock pressure. 22 sometimes 24 in the tires and 36-38 in the shocks. Just play around in that area and find what suits you best.

All the "playing around" in the world with the OEM Air Shocks will not equal the performance available with either the Progressive or Pro-Action shocks.

Good luck though with your efforts!!

Probably too late to help y'all but Freedom Shields is much better than LRS. It's more optically correct so the re-curve should you go that way isn't noticeable at all. And look over the edge is nearly like there is nothing there. It can't be no change at all but Freedom Shields are very close. It's also thicker which might come in handy should a buzzard not completely clear it some day.

I just got the LR flat top & I really dislike it. When in the rain on way home from NM raindrops just seem to hit & stay in place. Also used same cleaning cloth I have always used & there are a million scratches on it now.

Clearview shield unless you want thin and flimsy as some are...25psi rears...38-40psi front...40psi shocks...
