What is this?

This "plate" is on the trunk bulkhead right next to the trunk door tether reel and is held in place by 2 socket head cap screws. Does anyone know what it is? I can not find any reference to it in the supplemental trike service manual.

just an access hole. I put a hole in the plastic cover and ran wiring into my trunk for 12v and 5v for phones.

I thought HD put the 2 socket head cap screws there to hold my little magnetic LED flashlight.

I covered mine with aluminum foil so the dealer could not track me!!! Take the foil off when I take it in for service!!!!

I would be inclined to agree with the Fuzzmeister on this one. Anything to void your warranty.
