OK, who's going to Americade?

I'm thinking about it. Can't got during the week but may get a weekend off.

Laconia is the following week and I should make it there once or twice.

I'll be at Tour Expo Tuesday & Thursday morning at the GWRRA Booth.

I will be on the road Thursday , staying at a friends in North Creek till Sunday. Say hi to Chas for me. Mention ,Thumper. If time allows will stop at the motel.

Not so much this year, something has come up. We will try for next year, if the tide doesn't rise, and the bats leave the attic!

I've never been to Americade. Thinking of going up Friday and leaving Saturday. Maybe stopping in Laconia on the way home depending on time and how we feel.
Now to see if that room is still available.......

Found a room about 28 miles from Lake George. Will go up Friday and come home Sat afternoon.

Hope to see and meet some of you there.

Keeping fingers crossed that weather is good!!

OK, not going this year, but we have been there. 1983, and other years, on two wheels, these were the days before trikes were the way to go.
I am sure we will get there soon than later. Maybe next year, if all goes well and the tide doesn't rise! LOL

I'm looking at the extended weather forecast, looks like rain every day of the rally. Hope not, riding in from eastern Ohio on Interstate 90. It's still early, I'll keep watching.

I'm also watching the weather. I have until the 4th to cancel my room without loss of $$.

Also looking like rain for the first few days of Laconia Bike Week.

I'll be there! rain or shine............On my new trike! Saturday 2 Saturday

keep your speed down, and go quiet on the mufflers (the last couple of years the LEO's were out there monitoring muff noise.. (just saying here)

Yeah, I guess that, as usual I will load up my gear and make the long, long trek to the 'Cade. If I take the long way it is 5 miles.:D:D At least, lodging isn't a problem!!

We will be there Tuesday through Sunday. Hope to have a couple of rides on the M8 Harleys both Ultra Limited and Tri Glide. We usually join in a guided ride every year but this year we're going to wing it and maybe even allow ourselves to get a little lost.

Not sure which days I will be there. I usually go early in the week to avoid the crowds and stay away on the weekend. It's about a 15 minute ride for me.

Just back from Americade. Tuesday, the day I rode up form north of Boston was rain, rain and more rain. Fortunately my Firstgear jacket, Olympia pants and gloves and Full face HJC kept me warm and dry. Wednesday through today weather wise couldn't have been better. Went for a ride around Lake Sacandanga on Thursday, nice roads and views. Went to Fort Ticonderoga and Mount Defiance yesterday followed with lunch at the Hot Biscuit. Now for the bike stuff: Demo rode a 2017 Tri Glide and a 2017 Ultra Limited and while they're improved over previous years, still need some work IMO. The Ultra Limited did have a nice plush ride and Harley did lay out the best demo route not to mention it was the only manufacturer to NOT do a "nanny ride" where you had to go out with chaperones. Did the Indian Roadmaster, nice bike, pretty flickable for a bagger and had a KILLA sound system. (factory stock) Still too hot at idle and a guy in our group crashed out but was OK. Rode the Motor Trike

Prowler (again) and found it very enjoyable followed by the Motor Trike Razor. LOVED the Razor, just might consider selling the Hannigan and moving over to one of these. Vendor count at the expo was down this year (seemed like) but some good vendors nonetheless. Didn't spend all my money and didn't wear all my clothes so I'm saying that's a win for me. Favorite meal of the week: Pulled pork sandwich at the Barnsider. Burger at the Monte Cristo downtown was a close second.
