There Baaaaack

Had the humming bird feeder up since April 1
changing the mix weekly, finally had one in it today. It must mean sompthin being there a month late. :clapping:

Its amazing 2 me that come back 2 the same place. Last week the hummer was outside the window where the feeder usually hangs. Of course it wasn't there but he remembered from last year. So feeders now up and he's happy.

I took my Humming Bird feeders down last year....It takes way too many of them to make a decent meal..:laugh:

All kidding aside, The problem with my feeder and i guess the birds problem also, Is that the Yellow Jackets will feed on the nectar and then will Chase the birds away...

Seen a few drownings, but never a chasing. LOL on the meal.

They have been here for over a month.
As for the yellow jackets and wasp's, just find the nest, it's not far away, and dispose of them.

We have seen them since the 16th of April. We have a few more showing up each week.

My dad hangs out 2 feeders on his front porch. We were sitting out there one evening, and it sounded like a hundred bumblebees buzzing around. It was a sight! They were dive bombing each other, I guess to establish territory or something. They didn't pay us one bit of attention, even though they would fly within a couple of feet of our faces.
