I'm new to the world of 2006 Honda Goldwing 1800 Champion Conversion. I would like to purchase arm rests for the passenger and some other items. Can some of you offer good resources for these types of purchases.
Thank You;
Bill

I look at anyplace a google search leads me. That being said, many times I look on ebays 'cycle accessories to get an idea of price & what I want. Then look around. Don't forget Amazon, many times they have great prices, too.

I have bought many things from wingstuff.com over the years. That's where I got my armrests for the 1800. I just liked the way they mounted, vs bolting to the ABS trunk.

I have tried different arm rest for my wife but when she saw these from Rivco she really liked them a lot. The are CNC billet aluminum and chrome plated, plus the pad on top is soft and comfortable. The also swing up, not out. There is also the ability for minor adjustments to try and get the correct position. Retail is high $349.95, but I was able to purchase them for $299.95 with no tax and free shipping. I know that they are higher then most out there, but when you don't have a passenger they will not swing out.

Here is what they look like.

I have the Rivco arm rest for my wife, they are very well made...but the best thing about them is the company that makes them....this past winter after I returned home from Key West I noticed the chrome was peeling & pitting...I called Rivco to see about buying new arms, as mine were out of warranty...the lady at Rivco asked for the date I brought them, after I told her she said they are not that much out of warranty, send me a pic of the parts you need & we will replace the parts, or send you a new arm rest kit...I did & Rivco replaced my damaged parts free of any cost to me.:clapping:

For me, it depends on what the accessory or accessories are as to where I make the purchase. I have the pleasure of having an accessory store (Cycle Outfitters in Indy) near me. I try to use them.
For electronics/audio the best, IMHO, is http://www.sierra-mc.com/
The 1st "accessory" I strongly suggest is http://www.ride-on.com/motorcycle-formula-mot.html I have used this product for years. No flats and perfectly balanced tires.
E-bay/Amazon are good places to check prices to "shop" with.
For a rider back rest: http://www.utpr.com/ with the "quick out" option.
Best windshield, you'll never need to buy another!!!!!: https://www.f4customs.com/ I picked the F4+4 tinted/vented.

One of, if not the best place for Goldwing stuff is Cyclemax. if it is on the website it is in stock ready to ship. No drop shipping, no backorders, no ordering from another source then ship. Just good fast shipping. The owners answer the phone and e-mails themselves, Excellent customer service and prices are good. I have never had a bad experience dealing with them.

Another fan of Cyclemax. Excellent customer service.

You would be surprised how many of the same items you can also get on Amazon. I usually look up an item from winstuff or elsewhere onnthe net then go to Amazon and type in the description. I got the Centramatics for about 60.00 cheaper. I bought my ram mount, GPS and helmets there also. all. Free shipping.
