I just looked at my calendar and in only 6 more days most of you will go back on DAYLIGHT SAVING TIME AGAIN. That means longer day light hours which is better for riding. Out here in Arizona we don't play that game at all. Because when it's in the triple digits during the summer out here we don't need MORE SUN ! But I used to love it when we lived in MI and Minn. Because It gave me more dayight ridin time in either my Chevelle or my Monte carlo or on my Scoot. ThumbUp ENJOY the up coming daylight hrs and RIDE SAFE :D

I would prefer that they push the clock up two hours and leave it there all year...

Attributed to an old native American, but probably not. The sentiment remains though; 'Only the white man would believe that you could cut a foot off the top of a blanket and sew it to the bottom of a blanket and have a longer blanket.’

My other hobby is astronomy, and having the time move up an hour isn't really all that great for getting out on work nights.

Hey Rick,
It doesn't matter how we set our clocks. The sun will give us the amount of daylight according to the time of year. I remember reading about a lady writing into a newspaper complaining that the extra hour of daylight during DST was burning up her lawn.

Just about everyone I know wishes they'd drop daylight savings time altogether.

I'm with them. Leave the clocks alone and let nature decide when it gets dark or light.

Daylight Savings Time is GREAT!. Everyone I know, or most anyway, love the idea of more daylight in the evenings in the Spring and Summer. I'm glad it now begins earlier and ends later. I remember in 73-74 when we had it for the entire year to "save" energy. For the vast majority of Americans who still have jobs probably appreciate time in the Summer to get outside after work.Since Indiana joined the rest of the nation there are only 2 states now that don't convert. And remember, nearly half of Arizona is reservation and they do convert to DST.

Doesn't matter what time it is un less you have a drs appt, and you can still go late. Forgot ,
:AGGHH:some of you still work

In my case I can give a reason for me wanting the clock to be pushed up, I watch my Grandkids a few days a week. And my Son and or his Wife don't get home till 430. So after they leave i can have a few hours of daylight left to ride...Not everyone has nothing to do during the day! :D

A few days a week is better than every day of the week! Then again that's what grandparents do to save that daycare dollars for our kids.
