Love bugs

Not being familiar with your bugs, when I was younger I wondered why Fla folks had screens in front of the car, motor home, etc. , now I know why. I also didn't realize that they raise havoc on paint if not cleaned pronto. Ya we got bugs, but not flying paint removers . :AGGHH:

Smashed love bugs can etch their body acid right into your windshield. It's best to clean love bug debris off as soon as possible from painted, chrome or windshields.

Interesting thing about these little creatures; they land on you won't sting or hurt you, there may be millions one day and then the next day they are no where to be found. Like several others have said; wash them off PRONTO since they will seriously damage paint, either on metal or plastic.
