How many of you own and pull a trailer behind your trike? I'm considering the purchase of one for moderate to long distance touring. Any input and photos would be appreciated.

I pull a aspen sentry camper behind bike and use to pull a bushtec cargo trailer. On long trips we like the extra space.

I pull a trailer behind the Stallion when we go on anything overnight or longer. I love the extra storage and can't even tell it's back there unless I look.

Trailers make the longer trips much easier. I have to remind myself it's back there some times. Only drawback that I can think of is that the wife likes to buy lots of stuff and fill it up.

I actually have two trailers I pull. One I've had for several years and it carries a LOT but it's also heavy when loaded (450 pounds) so I built this trailer to pull for short trips and solo camping runs... It's a little futuristic to compliment the Trike's design. :xszpv: :xszpv:

One of the trailers I like is the Bushtec Entourage. http://www.bushtec.com/inventory/v1...rage/2015-Base--Jacksboro-Tennessee---2470021

Another unit I'm looking at is the Hannigan Sierra. http://www.hannigantrikes.com/products/sierra-trailer/

Bushtec makes a mighty fine trailer. Have you considered the Turbo+2 GT? I think it's lines would go with you trikes better then the Entourage and the usable space is better accessed.

But then again the Entourage would be easier to keep matched with a different trike should you ever change. All it would take is some paint... :) :)

I agree with Gold Rush on the Bushtec Turbo+2. Mine is not the GT model, but it is one fine trailer. No bounce, no wiggle and you will forget it's back there.

Hard to beat Harbor Freight Tag-Along. About $320 for a nice trailer that you will probably use half-dozen times a year.

Pulls nice and straight, can't tell it's there.

I totally agree, if you take long trips with your spouse, you have to have a trailer. I love my discovery trailer. Pulled it 2600 mies last June and it was fantastic.

If I was going to tow a trailer, I'd tow one of these. I could carry as much as I wanted and sleep in it too.

I've been pulling this eagle ( made in Minnesota years ago) trailer for 35 years. It's just a car top carrier on wheels and it works great, doesn't stick out any wider than my fenders and I can nearly pick it up one handed.

That is a nice trailer,Bubba, but a 575lb dry weight w/90lb tongue is quite a bit more than I prefer for an aircooled trike.

We have a Starlight Trailer. Like everybody says, don't know its back there. Made some extra rails for the top where I can Bungie down her push cart.

Bought this trailer last year from US Trailer Store......weights in at 140 , all aluminum, 14 cu. ft of storage.... and as many others have said you don't know it's there unless you look in the mirror.

We are running a CSC Escapade trailer behind our trike. Like everyone says... need to look in the mirrors to know it is there.

Doug, that is a very nice combo you have there. I've always wanted an Escapade.

Thanks Clint! We like it! CSC did an awesome job of matching it to our trike. It is a very spacious trailer. We usually end up carrying a few things for a few of our two-wheeled riding friends on trips since we have the room.

I agree. I have an Aluma MCTXL. I've pulled it with two different two wheel Goldwings and now with a Goldwing/Roadsmith trike.

I'm on my 2nd Aluma. My First was an MCT. This one is an MCTXL.

I agree. I've been pulling this one over 10 years and I don't know haw many thousands of miles. Couldn't be more pleased. You can spend more and get fancier, but you wont find a better trailer.

Exactly my thoughts. I do not believe anyone can wear one out!

At first,I didn't really like their look but I'm starting to warm up to them.

Yeah, I hear ya. Not as stylish as others. More on the functional side.

I have one and really like it. Maybe not as stylish as some others, but very well made and extremely functional. Very easy access, lots of room, easy to pull and easy to move by hand.

:Agree:
