Northeast 2015 Rally

Mark your calendars, because it's official -- the 2015 Rally will be Friday, August 14 through Sunday, August 16, 2015!! Once again, we will be gathering at the Gray Ghost Inn in West Dover, VT. We have the inn booked exclusively for our rally starting Thursday August 13 right through Sunday, so feel free to show up early!

Links for registration and tshirt orders will be posted sometime in the next week or two. The planning team is also hard at work tossing around ideas for activities to make this a fun weekend for everyone, so be sure to watch for more information in the next few weeks/months!! ThumbUp

Today's the last day of a vacation week in the Catskills. Can't complain about the weather but it was hot and humid all week. After a quick front moved in last night, nice and cooler this morning......glad to hear the date is now official, I'll have to send a quick e-mail to Carina to make sure we have our room for next year....

Scheduled completion date for my build is first weekend in June( 35 weekends left:AGGHH. Even if not on three wheels, I'll try to make it for a day trip or two as it is just around the corner from me( about 30 miles as the crow flies, or 1.5 to 2 hours by vehicle).

Good news is that you're holding this on a weekend that I have off from work. Bad news, real close to a big vacation we're taking so I am not sure if finances will agree. We hope so!

Try hard, Joanne - I am!! I'm planning this and Maggie Valley in September, so I have a lot to save for! So worth it to see friends, though! I'm not sure about Americade for me, so I really hope you can squeeze this one in so I get to see you two!

HI everyone!! Happy summer! Just a reminder that August is going to be here sooner than we think (can you believe it'll be July already in a few days??), so register for the rally and order your shirts soon! Remember, I need to have your order and payment by July 15.

Rally Tshirts

The shirts are going to be Irish green, like the ones above, and the same design as last year but with white lettering (and 2015, of course). We will also again have a choice of mens or ladies.

Great News - it was just announced the Sat. Dinner will be

Salmon or Chicken Dinner - @24.75
Icelandic Curried Clam Chowder
Salmon with a Cream Sauce or Chicken Dijonaise
Oven Roasted Potatoes, Zucchini and Squash, and Toasted Almond Cake

Each person getting their choice, I hope many sign up, we have to let the GGI know by Aug. 5th.

I am sure Carina, her daughters and staff will serve us in a timely and pleasant fashion as they did last year.

Please go to the meal registration page, even if you've already registered, and make your meal choice(s) so the inn knows how much of each to cook! Don't worry about duplicate registrations - I'll clean up the list as people re-register.

Also, I've extended the deadline to order and/or pay for tshirts. You now have until Monday, July 20, to order your shirts, or pay for an already placed order. Please keep in mind that the shirts on the order page are samples from last year - this year's shirts will be green with white lettering.

Does anyone who has been in this area before know of places that serve "gluten free"?

My guest is gluten free and we would like to know other options to eating at the GGI.
