HD Warranty?

I have a hitch installed and have a wheelchair carrier attached. There is no-way I would ask the Moco for "permission"; I think that would be asking for trouble. I have dealt with dealers all over the country and have never had any problems using the ESP. Even when I blew out the engines bottom end, the Moco rep only bitched about my cams. He never mentioned the trailer hitch. BTW, the dealership did some sleight of hand about the SE cams installed and got the coverage to repair the bottom end and get me back OTR for $50.

Harley will give some people "permission" to use a hitch for a flag mount. I wouldn't say anything else that it might be used for. Just be sure you never wire it.
But as far as the extended warranty,,,,, Don't know who to talk with there & I need to.

See my post #6 about this. All I did was mount a bicycle rack to a trailer hitch for the GF's (maybe 10#) walker. NOT even near the weight of a wheel chair. BUT hang a 350# side care on it and they have NO problem.

You know thinking back on the years I've been riding (even the AMF days) and how all this warranty issues started popping up somewhat collates when Harley management started shifting to the moving of Ford MOCO management into upper management in Harley..... Hummmmmm!!!!! Just saying.....
