Good Morning
I need to replace my front tire, what have people changed to, or are you still going with stock bf goodrich direction tire, u know only rotate in one direction. these type of tires seem to cup more aggressive than regular tires. also the price is half of what other companies are charging.
t/a radial 100
less schaub 200
michelin 200.
I would like to see what people think.

Thanks

I'm using a Bridgestone Drive Guard run flat. The sidewalls aren't as hard as a normal run flat, so the trike still handles and rides good. It is also very reasonably priced. I had my front tire go flat and didn't notice while driving at 60+ mph. It destroyed the inside of the tire. I didn't want that to happen again, so I had this tire installed and a Tire Guard TPMS for a trike. It does say good things about the handling of the trike that you can have a flat front tire and it will still handle fine. Rick

When I replaced my front tire (was cupped pretty bad) in Nov '12, I took it to a tire place to show them the vehicle. They recommended a Firestone. I was out the door at $97. Twenty two months and 18K+ miles later, it looks like new and no cupping . . . very satisfied.

Great Price. The Bridgestone was $150.00 out the door with the free replacement warranty. The tire is rated for 60000 miles. It's only been on for about 1000 miles, but it seems pretty good. I run it at 40lbs.

Thanks

I decided to go with the schaub tire. I really like how
they perform on my cars and they are everywhere.

I replaced all my tires with Falcon, the front was a 205/60R16 92V SL BSW for $88.52 and the rear tires were 225/60R18n99H SL BSW for $233.80 so far I'm happy with these tires. I don't think they a making the directional tire for the front tire anymore.

No problem for me in those asking questions again in real times, maybe a new perspective out there. It only takes a few moments to read it, and if it's of no interestest, no need to follow it. What amazes me is many times the OP does not show what machine he's riding. Following the thread, he's obviously riding the Scorpion, and maybe one should know that from the original post from the size of the tire.

I replaced my front tire at 30k not from the wear but, because the valve stem had to be replaced. I went to Sears and the original was no longer available but they had the replacement tire so I got out the door at $100, brought it to the bike shop replacing the stem, put in ceramic beads (4 oz). I did notice that the original factory tire pressure (42) had caused more wear in the center and slight cupping so I now have 36-38 psi in the front tire. 27k on it now and still looks as new !! the rear have 57k and still look new.
