Floor board extenders

I just installed a prototype set (left and right) of floor board extenders from Soos. Right side was a piece of cake, left side required a little more tinkering - not much but another set of hands would have made it a lot easier.

Did an 80 mile ride last night and all is well. Everything works as before the install.

Thank you Jim - great product. Hope you sell tons of these sets.

I used longer grade 8 bolts and washers from Home Depot on my Ultra.

I just worked out a kit that will move your boards out 3/4 or 1" on both sides. They are black powder coated spacers and all hardware. The 3/4" kit will go for $40. and the 1" kit will go for $45. shipped. Until I get my site back up and running the only way to order is by contacting me by email and I will send out an invoice thru PayPal or order by check by mail order.

Will these work for the 13's also? Is the hardware stainless or chrome?

I contacted Jim about a week ago via e-mail. He no longer is in production for the foot board extenders and is "easing" on to retirement. He told me that he has several sets of the 3/4" extenders left for sale at $40 a set. He does not have any of the 1 inch sets left.

Vtwin Goodies has them for $49.99.

I used them on my other bike and was pretty happy with them. Just thought I would support a member here if possible. Guess I'll go back to Vtwin then.
