Stay away from Complete Cycle of Rome GA. I got mine from there and have had to nearly rebuild it myself and there are still things that I need to fix now that mod season is here.
Good luck and don't be in a hurry. There are more trikes than buyers out there so you can have your pick.

Just wondering when you bought your trike from them. I bought mine in 2008 and no problems, I do know they changed management a couple of times. I believe could be wrong, but the owner is the same. I had bought a new 2008 1800 and they triked it for me. Was it Motortrike kit or Roadsmith kit. I have the Roadsmith kit.

Looks good, hope you enjoy riding it. If we get down across the river in PC, I'll send ya a email, and try go to the Fish Market at Fisherman's Village and eat before a ride. It may not be this winter season , but soon as Moma retires we will get out of the cold snowy winter here in Central Indiana . Gonna start looking for rv park either in PC,PG, or somewhere close to PC. Enjoy ur ride and it does look very nice !!

Want to save money? I have a 2005 VTX 1300 that is triked with a motortrike kit and I am asking $10500 for it. It is pristine and has less than 2000 miles on her. I bought it for my wife and she decided it wasn't for her.
I have health issues and prefer not to ride any longer.

as I have a sudden financial need. I am putting my trike up for sale. she has 35,000 to 40,000 miles on her she has survived an accident and has been completely repaired with new parts. she is pink on the front and black on the trunk. she need new rear fenders from DFT and will be complete. I have deducted the amount for the fenders of $1400 and reduced for the color.

I have had her appraised because of the accident they offered me $25,000 wrecked I'm asking $20,000 firm repaired and running.

yes if you are following her rebuild yes she is not finished yet but will soon be.

Sure wish you were looking for something newer....I have an 09 1800 "silver metalic" with 2 tone blue pinstripping .....22,000 miles, loaded with chrome, heated seats & grips, CB, pullback handebars, EZ stear, etc.etc.etc. garage kept ! Sure would love to see it go to another "Florida rider" ThumbUp........................and "almost your neighbor" over in Lake Placid, Florida !

You're crazy! They're the best place to get one in my opinion!

I went to KD Cycle I'm Gasden Alabama, and they were just complete jerks! Their employees looked about 16 and it was just a horrible experience in all! I went to complete cycle in Rome (which I found out later that KD was Kin to complete! My experience was overall amazing!

Did they build it? Can you tell us exactly what was Wrong? Is there reason(s) why you did not take it back for fixing?
What are you using for a basis of your statement of more trikes than buyers? We are in a somewhat depressed market on almost all major puurchases, especially "toys" but, I find those trikes for sale that are in decent shape and reasonably priced move quickly.

My choice also. Looks like a motorcycle, no Tupperware. No reverse, but I do live in Florida. Kinda on the flat side here. No long distance in my future. Just weekend stuff.

The VTX 1300 is a good platform for a trike. If it hasn't been done you can change the final to a 1800 final to help with low end power, big improvement. You can find em cheap on the classifies on any of the vtx forums. Use a speedohealer to correct the speedo. It will raise your rpms from 500-800 rpms at 70 mph. The 1300 has around 56-60hp.
