Hello all, and greetings from Mn. Right now we are experiencing a Blizzard ! Strong winds, Blowing snow, and near 0 visibility !
They have closed I 90 from Albert Lea all the way to South Dakota ! Sure am glad to be at home near the fire LOL .

I'm thinking of building a "chopper" trike starting with my '96 Sportster 1200. Think I've looked at all the kits. What I really want is a rigid frame , kinda like the servi car had. I'm a chopper guy so NO fiberglass body, No fender in the middle, No bags , just a stripped down hot rod chopper trike http://www.ebay.com/itm/151066756143?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2648 That one is for a CB750 but looks about what I want. I don't really want to fab something up cause I'd never get it done. Andy

Put suspension on it, The rigid frame would look nice but it will be a short haul bar hopper at best and likely pound the pee out of you.:gah:

Rear Trike tires are run at a lower air pressure and it helps the ride, but not enough?
It's not cheap building a trike no matter how you go about it, I wouldn't want you to invest the money in something you will hate after the novelty wears off?

Talk to zook about a raked triple tree also.

The frankenstien is a good looking outfit.ThumbUp

Just my opinion.

That looks like the DNA trike axles in the ebay listing.

Here's a few pics that may give you some ideas-
