Calendar Problem

I just found one of my new calendars, in my room, on the floor & went to the shop to turn up the heat & found my other new calendar on the shop floor!!
Has anyone else had a problem with their new calendars tearing out the holes while hanging?? It's nothing some tape won't fix, I was wondering if anyone else was having the same problem????:gah:

I'm sure it's a result of gravity...
ie, The gravitational attraction of an object [the floor] to attract a lighter object [the calendar]..

I think they still make those little hole re enforcers (spelling?)
I wondered about the single first page tearing thru.
So far mine hasnt

I used a little "preventative medicine"... For January, the entire weight of the calendar hangs by the hole punched in a single page. As I went to hang the calendar for the 1st time, I felt this was a possible problem so I "reinforced" the hole with a small piece of "card stock" taped in place on the side facing the wall. Wha-la, not noticeable and works well... :)

I found the problem or should I say, the problem left incriminating evidence this time. I fixed both calendars before sending time out in my shop, but when I got back in the house I found the calendar on the floor again with teeth & claw marks on it!! My male cat is a jumping wizard, give him a few steps & he can jump over 6ft, I know this because he can knock the hat off my head without touching me & I'm 6'4", give him a wall to use & he can almost get to the ceiling! I take him out in the shop with me quite often so I'm sure he did that calendar when he was out there the last time, I guess he really likes the Jan. trike or he hates it, he won't say.:D

I mostly use the calendar on my smart phone....so I just put a nail through it to the wall, and it is staying there just fine.:qpnmt:
For the wife's Giants calendar, I clip it with one of those binder clips and hang that from a screw.

that's a good idea to hang the calendar, the clip not the nail :D

Mystery solved!! We (unfortunately) have 4 cats, one we inherited when my mom passed away and three more that showed up over time and were taken in over my protests. Marge & Claudia love them and I must admit I have grown fond of them myself, but they do some crazy chit!
