Hey All, Does anyone know how to find out if a 60 y.o. panhead motor was ever stolen. The nat. insurance database only goes back five years. NYS records only go back 20. Happy Holidays to all.

call your local Law Enforcement agency and ask if they can
run the identification number on the engine and see if it is stolen.

You will probably have to explain what is going and it may take a supervisor to authorize it.

OF COURSE, if it is stolen, they will want to come and get it.............
