Jack for servicing Gl1800 CSC trike

Do you have the CSC ground affects?
I have the these on my Hannigan-called foot fairings by Hannigan
Known bike jacks will not raise the bike w/these accessories.
I use a floor jack to raise the rear to put jack stands there.
Then use the floor jack under the motor to raise the front.
Others have built ramps, usually made of wood to ride onto to raise their trikes.
To do tire checks, simple lift one wheel at a time.

Just drive the front wheel on a 2x6 and it will raise the undercarriage to the same level as what it was prior to installation of the trike kit.

Good question, believe Road Smith monitors this forum, maybe they will jump in and answer the question for RS. Not everyone goes to the TrikeShop for new tires.

I used to just use a standard floor jack and 4 jack stands....2 under the rear suspension, two under the front Trike Frame for inspections.....got a "flat" 7 qt. lipped metal bake sheet for oil changes...slid under the Trike without picking it up.....ThumbUp

I'm thinking the floor hydraulic jack at WalMart for $18 and change for convenience. For clearance on the oil change now, I just drive the front wheel up onto a 2 x 8, loosen the filter, then manually back it off for drain. Installing the filter is not much of a problem without the additional clearance.

I use the Craftsman Professional Motorcycle/ATV jack and jack stands. The motorcycle jack has a wider stance then the regular floor jack and is a little more stable.

I have a platform (actually 3 different ones depending on Bike/Trike Type) I welded up for my floor jack to pick Motorcycles/Scooters/Trikes with. They fit over the swivel plate on the jack.....ThumbUp
