Was out for a ride the other day and pulled into a weigh station, and holey smokes, my rig, loaded up, weighs 1650 pounds!
When I realized how heavy the trike was, stuff started to slowly whir in my old brain. I said to myself 'self - this thing is heavy!'
I've kinda been running the shocks at 36 and tires at 26. Tires seemed to be really good, but every time I went over railroad tracks or a pothole, it felt like a box of rocks trying to ride it.
So, I figured I'd try some more air back there. Went up to 42 pounds, holey smoke - a whole different ride!
I can actually step on the bumper and make the back end go boing boing.
I could probably take it up to 48 or 50 without any problem.
I guess it took seeing how heavy the trike was to see what the problem was. Duh!
Thanks for listening, hope this helps somebody.
