'Hartco Pro-Tour' addition.

A quick review;

As much as I don't care for a firm seat, this 'Hartco Pro-Tour' with it's memory foam customized for my size really surprised me. When I first sat on it, I was convinced it wasn't going to work for me as it seemed very hard (I don't like hard seats). So after spending a tidy sum on this upgrade, I convinced myself to at least give it a chance. After a few rides, I noticed that I wasn't preoccupied with the pain and burning I was feeling with the stock seat. Although I still think it's a hard surface, I have no discomfort any more while riding or after I dismount the trike. So, in short, this seat really does what it claims and I'm told by the manufacturer and others who also have this seat that after it's broken in, it'll be even more comfortable. I guess everyone who always told me, "firm is better" were right. Live and learn, lol.

Here's a picture of the Hartco;

We installed a Hartco seat on our trike a couple of months ago. At first I was sick, alot of money for a hard seat........But we stuck with it and have noticed the same, no pressure points at all, I'm not squirming around after an hour in the saddle. we now have about 2500 miles on it and I would not trade my Hartco seat for any other seat out there, hands down the best seat I have ever owned!!!!!
Only issue is it raised us both up a little and we are getting a little buffeting. I am 6-2 and Moma is 5-6. We have a full set of Baker wings including trike wings, a Tulsa extra tall windshield and the air deflector behind her as well. I ordered a 29.5 inch Clearview windshield today. Hope this will take care of our buffeting but even if it doesn't the Hartco seat will stay...

We highly recomend!!!!!

Not sure what type bike you refer to with the buffeting problem but if you are already using a KuryAkyn air foil, try some baker MIRROR WINGS.... these two used in combo totally cured buffeting on our GL1800 for the missus. We also used the stock windshield at lowest setting and found that the vent in the middle of the shield caused buffeting if opened in certain positions... My wife was most comfortable with the vent blowing right in my face OR totally shut.
