Aging Bikers

Interesting read...the comments that followed kinda pissed me off. Many people have attitudes about trikes and trikers. Some of them are so ignorant that they cannot even understand that others actually like trikes and ride both 2 and 3 wheels. The good news is that someday they will be faced with not riding, or choosing alternatives. Age is the defining common denominator for all cocky bastids!

Could not agree more!

Never trust a newspaper that doesn't have a comic section. That says it all about the NY Times.
Most of the comments were a waste of electronic ink. I did like the one that referred to trikers as "Seniors Of Anarchy". Pretty funny. If you don't know what the reference is, watch FX.

Anybody who does not know this reference is living under a rock IMOpepper:Shrug:

I was particularly amused by the pedalers. Their high and mighty "I'm living a healthy life style by eating healthy and getting exercise" attitude is ridiculous. I made it to 74 eating like my grandmother that made it to 94. Eggs, sausage, bacon, chicken fried steak, etc.

I like to wear my "Sons" shirt to my local bike night. Folks get a kick out of it.

That is a great looking t-shirt, I need to order a few of them.
John, can you tell me if the shirts shrink very bad, should I order 1 size larger??
I know this is a crazy thought, but I can't help wonder if some over zealous LEO might think that it may be worth a search or hassle when he sees a Hydrocodone Chapter shirt?!?!

I am one of those folks who have given up the 2 wheelers for 3. I had almost 50 bikes in my lifetime. I started with a 75cc NSU Fox and went all the way up to the GL1800 and everything in between. Finally last year, I decided the big bikes were getting to heavy to make tight U-turns or walk them around. I purchased a new Canam Spyder RTS/SE5 from "East Coast Cycle Center" in Bensalem,Pa. I put just about 5,000 miles on it for the year. I love riding it and felt much more secure. I wasn't worried about the bike falling over anymore. A few weeks ago, I went by the cycle store again just to say hello and what do you think happened ? I saw a 2005 GL1800 Lehman Trike on the showroom floor. It had just been traded the day before. It was beautiful and I fell in love with it immediately. Three hours later, I drove away with my new used GL1800. I have only had it for a few weeks now and have already put on 1,000 miles. I loved the Canam and I love this GL1800 Trike even more. Now I feel as though I am still driving a motorcycle instead of a futuristic space ship. LOL. I get more nice comments on the GL1800 then I did on the Canam.

I have had no problem with shrinkage. The material is of pretty decent quality. I am 6 feet tall, 200 pounds and I bought an X-large, which fits me perfectly.

I ordered mine directly off their website and it was delivered very quickly.

Thanks for that info John, I'm going to order soon. As far as I'm concerned these shirts are the only good thing that has come from THAT tv show and being a parody of THAT sick adult cartoon tv show is even better. :Trike1: :D
