where do you look??? im coming to the USA in july next year and am buying a trike. where do you recommend i should look online. the obvious one is ebay, and ive also looked at craigs list.. but there isnt a lot.. the HD site for all of the USA only has 13 newish trikes across the whole country so i assume they dont keep that site up to date.. as we would prefer to start our trip in Louisiana, is there any local bike sales websites. Texas maybe too.
any good ideas???
cheers
jeff

Ebay has hundreds of trikes every day. Also, CycleTrader(TrikeTrader) have a good selction. I think you need big venues like these to have a good selection. This way you have options from all states and don't limit yourself! ThumbUp

If your looking at Harleys, I'd check out a new Tri glide from a dealer, rather than a used one, I bought a NEW 2012 Tri glide last December from a Harley dealer here in Ohio for $3000.00 less than what others were asking for their 2 year old ones on ebay, cycle trader and other advertisements.

I agree sometimes you can buy a new one cheaper than a good used one -- but paying 28 or 29 grand for a good used one a couple of years old you most often get a ton of upgrades that you would have to do to the new one and most likely you would end up haveing amost 40 grand in the trike -- another thing is most people put on the extended warrenty so your getting that also.

If you're considering a conversion, some of the manufacturers like Roadsmith, Motor Trike and California Sidecar, have listings of their dealers' inventory of trikes that are for sale on the manufacturer's website.

Also true!! ThumbUp

I bought my 2011 Tri Glide from a member on this forum that was listed in the For Sale & Wanted section of this forum, so it might be worth your time to keep checking here for a trike. AND it already had 90% of the stuff we NEED to have put on our new bikes. I say 90% because there can never be 100% of Safety Chrome. :wave4:

The Trike Shop lists Roadsmith Trikes for sale.
