LCD problem?

My LCD lights up ok but cannot reset trip, view temp, or mode button does not work. Anyone have any ideas

Not sure what you are talking about, but when in doubt, power down. Just disconnect power for a minute and then try powering up again. Maybe that will do the trick.

Look for a stuck button for the display. This is a common problem when you can not change functions.

Morning John, Did you see we finally got a little rain up here????

I can't believe all those switches went bad at once and there is only one common point to each of them. When removing the dash shroud there is a connector positioned just below the buttons you speak of. It's possible this connector has come loose. I also noticed in the service manual that a common ground for all the switches comes through that connector from the combination meter assembly itself. I would start my search in those areas.

Found a loose cable and everything works. Had a little trouble getting it reconnected, thought I was going to have to pull the inst cover off. Thanks everyone for the help.
