Hey everyone,
Does anyone have any experience with the Baker Drivetrain reverse?
I have a 2007 FLHX Street Glide with a MotorTrike Trog kit and want to put some form of reverse on it.
Anyone advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

I can give no first-hand experience info with the Baker reverse kits, but I have one ordered from them and we'll soon see how it compares. While the Baker kits are a bit more complicated (you replace a couple of main gear shafts inside the transmission), they are designed to properly install a redesigned transmission that (in my case) has 6 forward speeds, a neutral, and a reverse gear - all operated by the shifter levers at the left foot. I estimate that while they cost probably $1000 more than the others after kit cost and installation labor, the design of a fully integrated system which builds a new tranny appeals to me versus an additional shift handle on the right side of the tranny (near the hot header pipe).

When I get mine and install it, I will post a review of my opinion and first impressions here for all to see. I'm hopeful that I wiill end up with a modified transmission that works as it should and adds an additional (reverse) gear.
