Yikes Strips #3

Ok, Ok I'll stop.

Added small chrome edging today on my Roadsmith Trike.

This cool rainy weather better end soon or I'll be adding something else........NOT!

Now.....One more time, What's your opinions?
The edging is 1/4" chrome around the fenders and bumper

Remember, I can start pulling some of this stuff off........:cxtv:

Here's more pictures...............

Hard to tell the over all effect Mike. Do you have a picture from about 7 or 8 o'clock angle? Close up I preferred it naked. But we rarely look at thinks that way. The whole thing may be an entirely different experience. :xszpv::xszpv:

Tour box..okay

Chrome edging if its on well is okay but will be hard to keep as washing and wind wants to take it off..... I went around my wheel wells and after three times I took it off...

I'm like GoldRush, think the long taped lines may be a little much..... but you are aware this is your trike to maintain and your riding it!!!

Your call......

Thanks for the warning on the chrome edging.
I was wondering about it staying on over time, wind and rain.

Oh well, I can always remove it completely if it gives me any trouble.

Thanks much Solidbob........ThumbUp

Don't listen to those nay-sayers. I think it looks sharp and have never had any problems with any trim whether it is on the fiber glass of the trike body or on a car body.
It's your and yours alone, enjoy it.

I agree. I think your doing a good job... conservative and not gaudy. But then I'm the guy that put $3K just in chrome on a Sportster.

the edge molding looks great.I think it gives it a more formal and finished look. I also like the stripes around the wheel wells. Very classy looking bike.
I put the edge molding on my 1990 Goldwing about 3 years ago and none of it has come loose or blown off in the wind.

I go for Chrome too... in the right places..... My Softail Sportster 100CI & 136 Verified Rear Wheel Horses on the Dyno...

And its For Sale with only 630 Miles

Before you put the edging on, put small amounts of clear GE silicone calk in the channel. Easy to pull off but it aint coming off by accident
