Last winters project... 289 ford v8 and velvet drive transmission from junked out boat. Old

Frankland quick change rear end narrowed. Steering wheel reduction is planetaries from a chrysler 727 automatic transmission. Just have forward, neutral and reverse No suspension so, yard use only.

Winter has showed up again so havn't got much testing done. Only 1 speed, geared low, so maybe top end of 50 mph but gets there quick.

That’s gotta be a hoot to run on grass/dirt..👍…

The throttle is the twist grip mounted on the brake handle, the round handle is the f/n/rev selector and the oval handle is for slightly increasing trans line pressure to creep f/r @ idle. Opening the throttle raises line pressure and engages the forward or reverse clutch. RH single m/c is for rear drums and cross shaft actuates another m/c for the front disc. the front m/c can be actuated separately for a parking brake.Definitely in the novelty/nonsense category.

Last winters project...

Last winters project...? Damn Larry, and you did not spend the build with us, how cool this must be.:gah: Now lets talk about that 5 window coupe, I'm so jealous...:D

Tommy J.. I'm not too good at posting, but since there has not been much activity on homebuilts lately (except for Bob) so I decided to post this project. The 5 window is a 36 Dodge that was just a body with no trunk lid hood or fenders. A 1937 Dodge frame came with the body, but there were many differences. everything a little rough and parts hard to find, so decided to go with a fenderless dirt track look with wide 5's all around. A long way to go and getting tired, but still going!

Now that's Back to the Future. You're a very talented individual.

that looks sketchy AF... I'm down. needs a spartan shield on the side and a spear holder...:ROFLMAO:

gives a whole new meaning to "chariots of fire"!

all jokes aside, that's a really cool use of random parts. not going to lie, I'm kinda jealous. ;)
