wla servie car project

Hi, My names aussie baz and I live in Sydney Australia. This is my first time using this forum, so hello or G'day!. I have a wla servie car (early model) thats been sitting in the back shed for the last 10 years and will so till I get around to spending some time on it (have a fatboy & fatbob as well). I'd like to use this time to research some tech. info and source the parts I'm going to need to put this old girl back on the road. I'd appreciate the offer of any tech. info during the stages of this rebuild. As I had a 2 wheel wla some 20 years ago that was kept in standard trim, this time I would like to modify a few different areas of this ride i.e. disc brakes, 12volt system, carb. and reverse gear setup so, I'd be thankful for any relevant feedback. I will send thru some pics of the trike when I get a chance to dig it out.

Thanks, and look forward to any replys.
aussie baz.

Welcome Baz. When I was 1st looking at the H-D Tri-Glides 1 1/2 years ago, my dealer could only get me a test ride on a '71 H-D Servicar. Just to get the feel of 3-wheels. It's an interesting ride, what with the foot clutch and suicide shift.

Welcome baz. I don't speak aussie, but I will provide you with some info that I know, in redneck english. We may need a translator.

There is a great panhead and flathead site with some real guru's on it. If they don't know then nobody does.

The Panhead & Flathead Site • Index page
