Winterization

I'm getting ready to garage my Roadking due to cold weather however probably shipping it south for bike week in February. Any suggestions on what winterization steps I should take? Also like to know if any biker babes
are available in DB for the week.

If it's in a garage that does not get below freezing, then:
1. Put Stabil in the tank, fill it up, ride for about 10min. to ensure the Stabil is completely through the fuel system.
2. Hook up the battery tender
3. Cover it with a bed sheet, assuming it's already clean!
Forget it until it's time to ship it South.

Of course, the best winterization is to just keep riding it. Case in point. In mid November I have a job in Jeannette (not all that far from your location). I rode 2 wheels there at that time last year and , barring major snow, will ride 3-wheels there this year (from Long Island). So if you see a Blue/Silver Tri-Glide on the road, give a wave.

One other thing I would also recommend is to buy a sheet of 2" thick, pink dense styro-foam insulation board. They come in 2 foot by 8 foot panels for about $15 bucks each.

Cut a 2 foot square off one end and put it under the front tire, leaving the 6 foot peice for under the 2 back tires. This will prevent flat spotting while it is parked on the cold hard garage floor all winter.

couldn't help ya with the winterization stuff. just wanted to rub it in that we have 12 months of riding down here in south texas. don't hate...
