Windshield

I have owned a windvest and the build quality and materials are the best you can buy and it is a good looking unit. With that said there are much better shields for your protection from the elements. I have owned a lot of shields and the best for protection and wind deflections is KlockWerks. If you are looking for looks such as a custom bike go with the Windvest, if your going to actually ride this bike go with KlockWerks. I have no connection with either but have owned several of both. Thanks, Jerry

My son in law runs a 6" (dark) Windvest on his '09 Street Glide and really likes it. I'm waiting on an 8" (smoke) Windvest for my '11 Triglide. Should be here tomorrow, but am leaving for a short trip so won't get to put it on for a couple of days. I'll try to let you know after some miles put on behind it......Ol' Man :wtg:

Well rgc, after being on backorder, my 8" windvest came in and was able to install an take a 150 mi run. So far I like it. I don't get as much wind in the face and at chest level, the wife says she has less air movement all around her. Still there but not as turbulent around head and arms. Hope this helps. Ol' Man....:wtg:
