Why is the power commander 5 overlooked

As far as I know the Power Commander 5 is the only tuner that will not void your warranty when it is unplugged and stock ECM harness plugged back in, Leaves no footprint in the ECM. Seems to me to be a good choice if one was to want to upgrade to a high flow intake and exhaust. ?

I had a Power Commander on my '99 Victory V92. I really liked how easy it was to use and how much it improved the performance of the bike. It was actually analog which means you had pots that you set to tune the bike. Anyway that was 20 years ago so I do not know if they have improved or not or if the PC is a good fit for HD.

I know it is old teck but for someone that needed a tuner and stay in warranty it is the SE Race Tuner or this , Power Vision will leave a signal in the ECU

I had heard somewhere that the Vance & Hines CARB (CA) approved model would not void the warranty. Is there any truth in this.
