Where to get trim caps?

I have a Suzuki/Lehman trike, bought used. I'm missing a couple of the plastic chrome looking caps that finish up the open tubes on the frame. I don't know what these are called or where to find them, have looked all over the internet.

I pried off an existing cap for the picture and also took a shot of the frame where I need one. Looks like it fits in a 7/8" or 22mm ID tube/pipe.

I don't know if these were put on after the conversion or if the origoinal 2 wheeler had these. Anyone done any custom work and familiar with this type of trim?

Okay, here's what I found. Both Lowe's and Home Depot have nickel plated steel hole plugs in various diameters, in the fasteners section. I chose a 1" and it fit perfectly, not flimsy aluminum, looks better than the old plastic plugs.

That is exactly what I was going to suggest, I had the same issue on a Honda VT1100c 2 wheeler, the cheap plastic plugs fell out, looked terrible. Contacted Honda, as I recall, they wanted about $7 EACH for the same plastic plugs. I used electrical box hole plugs, but polished. Figured I couldn't lose, if the polishing didn't work out, I would just paint them. Looked so good, I replaced both the original plugs.

Plastic costs more than real chrome, as I discovered on my new Kawasaki Voyager, bottom of the pass. floorboards were black plastic, could not accept that, found real, chrome ones from a different model, they cost about $5 each. Don't understand why the plastic is so expensive!
