Thankfully I'm running out of little problems with my 'Wing' but what we call the Top Box in the UK is more than challenging to open.
Allowing for the age of the 'bike' (1998) the lock is probably just worn and now it's triked impossible to access the levers on the underside.
It might open once in 10 attempts, I could probably get a replacement mechanism from a bike breaker but the ignition key opens mine so apart from buying another worn replacement the key adds to the problem. Any hints or tips appreciated.

Welcome to TrikeTalk.

Try this - insert the key in the trunk mechanism - push the trunk down and turn the key to the left

I have a 2002 GW Lehmen trike and my pull handle stopped working completely.
I called a dealer who used to install the Lehmen trike kits and he said to remove my seat and see if a cable was taped under the seat decking!
There was a cable there and when pulled opened my trike's truck.
I ended up running the cable up through my passenger side pocked.
I can still lock the truck with my key but do need to pull the cable to open.
Hope this helps!

Mark
