I stopped to try Valero gas today, supposed to be 93 octane with no ethenol, when this pulled in. Made me think I needed to get back on the porch....The rider was near 80, walked with a cane and invited me to join him and his friends at the Cracker Barrel on Saturday mornings for a ride. He said "we always end up at a good restrauant"! (sorry for the pics being too big)

Ural is a copy of a WWII era BMW. The Soviets simple reverse engineered from some of the many left behind as the Third Reich retreated from the Soviet Union.

It's a Ural very popular with the sidecar crowd. Very old school not a lot of power if you like turning a wrench on the side of the road it's the one to get. They come one and two wheel drive.

We have a dealer here in Lubbock, he says they sell a bunch of them mostly for back roads riding. I have seen several in the store, then after a few weeks they are all gone. I hope the quality is better than it was in the past but i really don't know much about them, just what i have heard.

Ok for back roads . Tops out at 65MPH . Fun . Can even get 2 wheel drive. Not expensive. Small motor I believe 650 cc or smaller.

Tops out at 62 mpg, I test drove one 4+ years ago, Couldn't get up the low hills here in North Jersey, Just maintaining 55 the engine was screaming.
If they would put a 1200 in it i would have bought it [2 wheel drive]
