I'm a simple guy. I don't want or need a new bike, trike, car, truck, motor home, or boat. My wants and needs are pretty simple. I'd love to get a new front wheel for my trike with a tire and I'd like a new miter saw. I'm not getting either and that's fine with me because besides those two things, I've got just about all I want and I don't really need a damned thing.
I have a really wonderful wife, reasonably good health, enough money to keep me happy, a paid for home on a piece of property I like, and a really great niece that likes doing things with and for me. I have a great dog and a really nice cat. I'm happy with what I have, where I'm at, and who I am. Life is good so Santa can go visit those that need it more than me and make them happy. I already am.
Well, surprise, surprise, surprise!!!! That miter saw I figured I'd never get, just showed up under my Christmas tree! All my relatives pitched in and got me gift cards so I could buy the saw I want. They are wise enough to know NOT to try and pick it out themselves. I'd surely wish they had purchased some other model if they did and they all know how I am about buying certain things. Things like tools for me. Anyway, I am about to become the proud owner of a DeWalt 12 inch, double bevel, miter saw!!! I got to tell ya. I got it all.
I'm actually pretty content but for the sake of a little fun and the thread new windshields for the bikes,LED light strip for the rear of the trike.Leds for the front, maybe some front springs or a new comm system. The stuff that can't be bought list would be huge but i'm blessed beyond what I deserve.I start a new chapter Jan.2.After 10 yrs I start a new job.Hope all goes well cause I have high hopes for it.
Good luck in your new job, Marc!
Thanks Doug.I'm going with cautious enthusiasm but i'm sure it will be ok.I just hope I can get vacation eligible and get enough time in to do Maggie Valley again this year.
