I sent tow pac- off their website contact form - questions asking about pricing on a mounting plate kit.
Contacted them two times- No reply.

Then called, left a message- No return call

Why be in business if that's how they operate?

Am I just having bad luck? Or have others had this happen to?

I sent a message to Trinity three weeks ago and have heard nothing. My brother called Danson and two minutes later after the call he was called back. Buy a Danson forget about Towpac.

I have a Danson, the quality and service cannot be matched by any of the others. I've read about Trinity taking as much as 6 months to fill a pre-paid order (of course, Trinity is now under a different management so it might improve).

I'm fortunate that I live about 15 miles from a Danson dealer, so was able to pick up the kit, bring it home and install it myself. No shipping charges, wonderful support from both Todd and Danny.

Looked at Danson Website- Looks they just make scooter trike kits. Not what I need

Danson is the best out there. Right after I bought my bike with the Danson trike set I had some issues of the brackets breaking. The guy who put the trike set on didn't do a very good job. I called Danson talked to Danny Johnson who told me to bring it down on a Monday and he will make it right even if it took an entire new trike set.

I did take the bike down from Cincinnati a long ride in the early morning in April. There were bad storms in the south that day but we dodged them all. Danny made some adjustments on the trike, put some new parts back there and fixed the problems. Cost? Nothing all for free. Danny and his buddy worked on the bike for six hours and didn't charge me a dime. I did hook him up for taking care of me.

Danny is good people and stands by his product. I would recommend Danson to anyone.

I saw a Voyager kit on a Goldwing on a dealers floor. Sat on it and the bike leaned so far over I thought I was going to dump the bike! Dealer said it was normal "play" for the Voyager kit. Not for me
And their ground clearance is a problem being so low.

Tourman,
Have a look at Voyager.

The more "pre-load" you use the less the bike "leans". I just put the up-graded suspension on the kit I have and I doubled the pre-load and then took it out for a 20 mile ride and it's great. Any of these trike "kits" can cause problems if not installed and set-up correctly.

very good quality, that Trigg trike kit. I had the voyager, it was ok but the trigg is better built and better stability. If I didn't pick up my motortrike I would have gone to trigg.

I love Trike Alternatives! They are helpful, and have even sent parts to me free-of-charge. Every time I ride, I appreciate the fact I did not go with Voyager or Instatrike.
