Under seat power plugs?

I have several HD options installed on my trike all of which are designed to plug into the one and only, switched, Dutz power plug under the seat. HD does things like that. I already have the HD "Y" connector in place to operate two of the accessories but don't want to overload the circuit by adding any more. I have also noticed two other empty plug ends under the seat not being used. What are these intended for, are they switched, and can one of these be used to power my Zeppelin seat? If so, where can I get a short connector, or the plug ends to make a connector wire, to go from the seat Dutz plug to one of the empty plugs? Suggestions? Thanks.

Rich, I have my Road Zeppelin seat and my Lenale fan hooked up through the HD Y-adapter and use the Accessory switch to turn them on and off...Can't think of anything else I might want/need to 'accessorize'. I would say total the amperage of all the things you want to use and make sure your accessory fuse it high enough. Also consider the gauge of the wire in the harness. The amperage rating on the switch will also come into play too. Take into consideration what you will be running simultaneously. I always pump the Zeppelin and then only run the fan when I need to.
Hope that helps some...

Thanks for your reply. I personally spoke to one of the tech's at my local HD dealership about this yesterday. He recommended the same thing...run a separate, protected circuit w/relay to the battery. He also thought it odd that HD did not make provision for another Dutz accessory plug under the seat especially with all the accessory items HD made to plug into it. Once you start adding it up; heated clothing liners, heated gloves, heated seat, accessory lighting, cooling fan...the amp draw becomes much more than the rating of the circuit. Gotta do what I gotta do. Thanks again.
