I'm no mechanic so could someone tell me why the front TPMS is non-functional after converting from a 2 wheeler to a trike with a Roadsmith HT conv. kit ?
(2012 honda goldwing)

Your TPMS system was probably disabled during conversion.

The GL1800 OEM computer would only read 2 sensors (2 wheels) and you now have 3 wheels.

Even if they left undisturbed the TPMS would be looking for the missing sensor and flashing in your dash constantly.

If the put a sensor in your rear tire, the sensor would light up because of the lower than normal air pressure in that rear tire as opposed to the stock rear tire.

The OEM TPMS would not adapt to the trike and has been punished !:p
