It seems that in 1995 there was a lot of snow in the western us. Our trip that year was to go for a whale watching tour off the San Juan islands. We did a lot of side adventures on the way up there and back. Here is the ride up Mt. St. Helens. We made our first trip there in 1989. They had just reopen the road up to the summit that month. Due to the bad fog we only made it 1/2 way. In 1995 it was a beautiful clear day. The deviations was still apparent even after 15 years.

Thanks for sharing your video... It's going to take quite awhile before the area around St. Helens will look as it did before the eruption.
