Possibly a compromise would be a two week waiting period while a THERO criminal and mental aback round check is run. The price of the check would be included in the cost of the gun. The weapon that killed President Kennedy was a surplus military sniper rifle purchased from a mail order gun store with a scope attached. The back round check on Oswald was conducted post mortem.

Am I seeing it wrong or is there a bunch of copycat crap going on now??? We have a stupid kid locally that made remarks that got his butt arrested. His minute a fame. It's stupid but it seems it's happening in other places as well. IDIOTS!!!

Going out on a limb here but my take on this mess is the majority of us on here didn't grow up with 24/7 "news" channels, smartphones, facebook, Instagram, snapchat, twitter, etc. Therefore it seems and actually is, the new reality that news and peoples biased opinions of these shootings get out across the country/world much faster than in the past before all of the above came about.

Along with the faster news and instant information "explosion" we find ourselves in, come the bad actors. Majority of them being the younger generation, looking for their perceived 15 minutes of fame. Be it good or bad.

Most good folks already know or eventually learn how to manage in this new age we're in, but there are also many numbers of other folks who choose not to do the right thing by society's rules and we're left with these misfits to deal with after they do their dirty deed(s)....:Shrug:
