The Passing of John Parham, owner of J & P Cycles & National Motorcycle Museum

Brethern ,

I just read yesterday of John Parham's passing due to ongoing medical issues.

Any of you whoever had purchased parts from his business, visited his museum in Anamosa,Iowa or had the pleasure to run in to him at swap meets soon realized that he was a fair & dedicated merchant & who had a tremendous desire to perserve & display antique motorcycles at his museum in Iowa.

A strong presence in motorcycles & a real gentleman,he will be truly missed.

This is sad news. I have bought a lot of parts from J & P over the years and they provided good service and value and had anything you needed. I have a high school friend that retired from J & P in Iowa and she said the Parhams were a class act.

John Parham was inducted into the Motorcycle Hall of Fame in 2015. 62 years old is too young, R.I.P., and condolences to his wife and son.

Very sad news! I talked with him when I was there visiting his store and museum,he was truly a nice guy. RIP brother of the wind!

I, too, have purchased a lot of motorcycle parts and accessories from JP Cycles.

Their customer services were exceptional. May his traditions continue.ThumbUp

RIP

I too purchased parts for my Wing from the store in Ormond Beach Florida and before then through mail order.

May he rest in peace.

Sad day indeed, now we are stuck with Midwest as the BIG player?

Sad again IMO

When I was younger I dealt direct with Drag in Mpls Mn

Not so much any more, it even tougher now to even get a Fat Book

Even as a small time designer I would have to stock 5K worth of merchandise with out any say over what I could pick if I am reading this right? Nuff Said
