Wife and I both had COVID and been in bed for 2 weeks. Had to take her to hospital but she’s home now. Been released from (house arrest) so yesterday (Friday) morning we decided to go for a day of riding. Ride interstate 40 E to Hurricane Mills. Then HWY 50 to Natchez Trace Parkway to Pickwick Dam. Eat at Catfish Hotel and be home bout sunset. Cruising I 40 beautiful views with no worries in the world. Got my Wing in the wind, cruise set at 70 THEN THE THING THAT I FEARED HAPPENED. She just DIED!!! Coasted to the side of the interstate and started doing the little things that I hope will get us on the road again. NOT GONNA HAPPEN.

Called my son who brought his trailer and we winched it on and came home. Got my Goldwing diagnostic manual and started to work. After about 2 hours checking fuel, fire and ecm determined that screws in the kill switch were loose and had a open circuit. Tightened the screws and she fired up!!!

We been riding for bout 17 yr and traveled over 300,000 miles on trikes. Yesterday’s ride was the first time we had a breakdown and had to be towed.

LIFE IS GOOD!!!:wave4:

For a second there I was freaked out that your wife died. Sure happy it was a mechanical death.

😂:D sorry for the confusion. Now that’s how rumors get started. After I proofread the post 5 times I didn’t notice the use of words in that context 😂. She (wife) and she (trike) are both doing fine today. :clapping::clapping::wave4:0DAF626D-5B9D-4BA7-AD67-499C92991B45.jpgEnjoying a night out with my lovely wife.

I’m one lucky guy:clapping::clapping:

Glad it was the trike !

Me, too. When I first saw the title I thought it was gonna be about my teenage years.
