My CSC trike will need inspection soon. Does anyone know the DMV requirement for stopping? Last year I had to accelerate to 20 mph then after crossing a cone, come to a complete stop. What I would like to know is; how many feet to come to a stop.

20 MPH to zero in 30 feet sounds like a walk in the park..... :) It would be interesting to know your actual distance ..... Jim

Interesting. Never knew there was a requirement in Texas for proving stopping within a certain distance on a 2-wheeler or 3-wheeler. Doesn’t matter which shop I have taken the bike/trike to over the years the inspector just has had me put my foot on the brake.. checking for brake lights. Guess they figured if I was able to get to their place from my place the brakes must have worked ok at stop signs and stop lights.. Hhmmm…
