Hello all! My SO had to move to Tennessee for her job about 5 years ago. I stayed in the Phoenix area for mine and we traveled back and forth. She lives in Mount Juliet. I like the Knoxville area because there are more lakes and it's closer to the mountains. I ride into the mountains out here almost every week. I retired about 3 months ago and we're thinking about moving, and retiring, to the Tellico Lake area in the Village. Does anyone live over in that area? How's the humidity? Will I be able to put up with it since I've been in low humidity Arizona for over 40 years?

I'm originally from Chicago, so I know what high humidity is like, but I got spoiled out here. Yes it is hotter than he#$ some of the year, but it's a dry heat. You just shrivel up faster. How are the bugs since we don't have many out here? If you can think of anything else that would help, please let me know. We rented a house in Tellico Village for a couple of weeks the beginning of August. If we do move there, I will be bringing the Stallion and Burgman with.

Thanks for all your input.

Thats about an hour from me but I have always lived here.I would say yes its humid. At least thats what we say when it gets hot.

I want to thank everyone for your comments. I'll be leaving for Tennessee and be there for a month. At this time of year, I should get some good experience. The SO has been living there for the past 5 years, so I have been there quite a bit, just haven't spent that much time there at one time because I had to get back for work.
