STURGIS

Any chance you are talking about Sturgis MI or KY? I've been out to the Black Hills rally 8 times and I would swear I don't recognize those signs pictured or the locals behind them.

Been to both Sturgis,Mi. & Sturgis, S.D. plenty of times. Almost bought my bike at Hamilton Harley in Surgis, Mi. Was at Sturgis,S.D. 1yr ago. Then drove up to Beartooth Pass.

It's a blast. I love camping out there. Wife won't camp anymore. says she will only go back if we get a room. Haven't been there since 2000. Have ridden out 8 times. The traffic can get a little annoying with trailer woosies who don't ride much.

Hear that! There are more people that trailer than ride anymore. My wife won't camp either. She gets on me about putting people down who trailer. Bikes are made to ride. I know, some just can't ride far.Half the fun is riding to & from those places. Or maybe they don't have enough time to get there & back. Some are just woosies like you said. We'll both catch hell now! Oh well, I got broad shoulders.

We been out to Sturgis many times.
Last trip was last year.
Great weather and had a great time.

Here I'm helping the sheriff out in Custer

Last for Sturgis SD rally was in 1992... Was there quickly last year headed to Billings MT for the Blue Knight International Rally.....my son and I are headed for the rally next year, he's never been...everyone should see the "zoo" at least once....;)

One of the best rallies we've been to Sturgis,Sd, not for the rally itself but for the fantastic scenery and rides in the area. It's a lot diff. now than when my Dad and I went in the 70s, could be I'm just a lot more Mature. LOL Charley

Been to the Rally for over 10 years, however, last year was the first time on my Trike. First we went to Breckenridge, Co for a week, then off to Sturgis for the Rally. 10 of us stay in a house we rent between Sturgis and Deadwood. 4006 miles on the trip. Have always enjoyed riding the Black Hills and I enjoy it as much on the Trike. The only problem with riding a Trike to a large Rally is finding a parking spaces, but I managed. I thought it handled fairly well in the Rockies but after a visit to the CSC folks in Sturgis, we adjusted the spring a little tighter and I'm really impressed with what I can do on that Trike. No problem running with my 2 wheel friends. Next year we're headed for Glacier National Park and on the trip we'll check out Chief Joesph Scenic Byway outside of Cody and the Great Bear Tooth HWY. Sorry for Rambling. Couldn't get a couple of pictures to upload????

I shipped my new trike over to the US in July, picked up the'84 Yamaha Veture we bought for my husband Alan in Utah, then headed for Sturgis via Wyoming and Montana. Sturgis was my "bucket list" and it was great.
Got to take part in the first ever trike ride too :)
