After going to Sturgis for the last 24 years, we decide to do something else. We decided to go to THE LAKE OF THE OZARKS RALLY in Missouri. I got reservations, so we're going. I have been giving my wife some hints that I would like to go to Sturgis for our 25th year. So! My wife gave me a nice card and a bag for Father's Day. I told her not to buy me anything. But she never listens to me. So I opened the bag, and there were some printer download copies in there. She made reservations for Sturgis this year. Holy Moly. What a good wife. I think I'll keep her. ...At least for another year anyway. HaHa. Just kidding. Now, I just have to get the trike ready. Jerry.

A little update on my trip to Sturgis. We were planning to leave for the Black Hills on July 28th. Well, I fell in my garage and landed on my butt. went to the DR. for some ExRay's. Nothing was broken. But I pulled some ligaments, as I did the splits when I fell. I'm a 76-year-old man. Not meant to do the splits. I have been trying to heal since. I'm feeling better. I took a couple of 100-mile rides to see if I was healing. Still hurts. But now, we're leaving this Friday for the Black Hills and a couple of days of Sturgis. I'll have to take more breaks.

I went in 03, love to go back again, BUT wife does not ride anymore, so going alone is not an option...

Update on the Sturgis ride. We left on Friday, Aug. 9. Got there Saturday, Aug. 10th. The trike ran great. Ran into a couple small rain episodes. Not worthy of putting on our rainsuits. On the way out there on I90, there must have been several thousand bikes, trailers full of bikes, and RVs, heading East. It was like a Ghost Town when we got there, most of the tents were torn down. The good thing was, we had most of the rides to ourselves. We did all the hills that we normally ride. Iron Mountain Road, Needles Highway, Custer State Park, and 2 trips through the Wildlife Loop. Saw lots of Buffalo in the loop. Wyoming, Sundance, Devils Tower, Hulett. Of course, we can't forget, Spearfish Canyon. Had our normal Beer in Keystone. Mt. Rushmore, also. All in all, we had a good trip. 2400 miles.IMG_0936.JPGIMG_0937.JPGIMG_0948.JPGIMG_0933.JPGIMG_0950.JPG
