Strongly considering a SS

I’ve had my Freewheeler since March 2017. A 2015 I bought with 264 miles. It’s been an enjoyable ride, now with 4,600 miles primarily from a trip I did shortly after purchasing. I replaced my touring bike with it because I’m getting older, weaker. I only use it for touring, but haven’t done any touring since last July. I still have motorcycles to do twisties, so if I get a SS I’m ok going further away from a motorcycle feeling/vehicle with my touring rig. Looks like there are some decent deals being offered on left over new inventory.

Guess I’m kinda rambling and thinking out loud. But I’ve spent a lot of time reading about Harley’s and how to get the best from them. I’ve done all the DK Customs recommended mods to reduce heat, Love Jugs, Jaggs, PV tuner, tank lift, air deflectors, Stage 1 ac and pipes, oil filter relocation kit, plus some comfort stuff. I really like the trike and have it set up correctly. I’m guess looking for some feedback from those who have given up their traditional trikes for a SS. Any remorse? I’m going to do test drive this week. Everything I’ve read is owners love them. Thanks for any input.

No regrets on my Slingshot....You do have to remember its not a Trike it might have 3 wheels and thats it....And thats where the ,For lack of a better word the Resemblance ends...Its faster than my 17 T/G was and you can take the curves much faster than the T/G with out even trying,...So much so you can easily get carried away....It drives very similar to a Can-Am Spyder [I had a Spyder] But with sitting in a car seat with a seat belt and holding on to a steering wheel you don't need any body english going around fast corners...
