Has anyone upgraded their wheels. I purchased the HD Anarchy Wheel set and want to go wider in the rear. I looking to see if anyone fitted 225/55/16 in rear?

Do you have room to install wider tires/wheels..The rest of us have a hard enough time getting the wheels off the bike because its so tight..

You have a point. However there's a company in MD? that installed 18' tire on a 7 inch rim without any modification. I figured a 225/55/16 tire is about the 3mm taller than 205/60/16 maybe it could fit. Also the company with the 18 inch wheel boast it's also mounted with 225's.

just installed my original 205r65/15 tires on my '09 t/g. had to clean them up.
but there isn't much room there . i the rims are 5.5" wide.

Was the bike stock that these wheels were put on? I find it hard to beleive a 18 inch tire and 7 inch rim would fit without being modified in some way??

Is the company EP? I dont want to say the whole name..

Any one know the stock wheel backspacing ? (So I don't have to pull a wheel and measure it ???) I'm shopping for a solid wheel and I've found several 15" x 5.5" auto wheels with the proper lug pattern that are possibles....one is the 2003 Hyundai Elantra. I want to powdercoat a pair gloss black like Dennis suggested in another post.
